Karjdar Jamindar Hakk Bachav Sangharsh Samithi was established in the year 2005. The reason for this is that in the year 2005, drought conditions arose in Marathwada and Vidarbha. Due to these drought conditions, the general public and especially the farmer took loans from private moneylenders and financial institutions, but due to the drought conditions, they could not repay the loans. As a result, due to the indebtedness of the farmers, it was time to starve them. How to repay the loan? A double crisis had increased on them. Due to this crisis, the burden of debt increased on them. Obviously, due to the additional interest rate increase on the loan, it was time for them to starve. Farmers especially from Vidarbha and Marathwada committed suicide as they could not find a way out. Then Chief Minister late Vilasrao Deshmukh was faced with a double crisis to prevent the increasing suicide of farmers. In order to prevent the increasing suicide of farmers, the former Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh made an emotional plea to prevent the suicide sessions of farmers by many NGO's and social organizations in the state. In order to find a way out of this, in the year 2005, Raju Poojary, the guiding expert and founder of the Karjdar Bachav Sagharsh Samiti, has established the Committee. In case of farmers committing suicide, their families were actually visited by Sangharsh Samiti, for what he had taken the loan, the nature of the loan and additional interest burden on them, and how the victimized farmer would be helped. Efforts were also made to get help to the families of the affected farmers and even today the Sangharsh Samiti is ready to provide justice to the affected families. Sangharsh Samiti is a dispute between the aggrieved borrowers and guarantors, if there is a dispute, if the victims complain to the Sangharsh Samiti, they get justice. Kolhapur, Satara, to get justice to the aggrieved borrower, Efforts are being made to bring justice to the victim by conducting violent protests in Mangalvedha, Solapur. For the first time, after the victim complains to the concerned financial institutions, they try hard to mediate between the bank and the borrower, from which there will be no settlement and justice in the middle way, or if the bully of the financial institutions increases, outside the head office of the financial institutions to answer them accordingly. Sangharsh Samiti has a strong role to bring justice to the victim by violent agitation. The Sangharsh Samiti has been protesting outside City Finance and ICICI Bank in Mumbai, after it came to light that these banks have been harassing borrower guarantors in various ways for recovery.
This movement was widely discussed in the society. The Sangharsh Samiti has become popular among the masses due to the agitation against the financial institutions. So far, thousands of letter transactions have been done in the administrative system. Creditors, guarantors have also started to think of the organization as their own organization. Creditors and guarantors have started to feel that Sangharsh Samiti is their right. Aggrieved borrowers, guarantors of Maharashtra visit Sangharsh Samiti head office at Vashi Naka, Chembur, Mumbai. Borrowers, guarantors are victims, to raise their voices, Sangharsh Samiti has started its own monthly newspaper, 'Karjdar Sandesh' and also has started its own YouTube channel KTV News - (Karjdar Sandesh) to make the information of Sangharsh Samiti available online to any victim in Maharashtra. How will the Sangharsh Committee always give justice to the victimized family from their economic exploitation? In this regard, the initiative is always prioritized We consider it our primary duty to provide justice to the victims through social agitation under Article 46 of the Constitution of India to protect their economic, educational and financial interests, especially from the weaker sections of the Scheduled Castes, Tribes, and from all forms of exploitation.
